Lasizwe was born on the morning of 19 July 1998, at Lesedi Private Hospital in Soweto, Johannesburg, where his mother, Lindiwe Dambuza, was a 40-year-old nurse. His father, Menzi Mcunu, who was not married to his mother at the time had no claim to the child. Thulasizwe, which means “quiet world” or “be still nation”, kept his mother’s surname.
Lasizwe attended a mixed race primary school, Meredale Primary (2005-2010) in Meredale, South of Johannesburg. He continued onto high school where he attended Mondeor High School (2011-2016), one of the best schools in academics and extra murals in the South of Johannesburg. Lasizwe noticed there was something different about him. He felt a discomfort around boys, but could relate to any feminine topic. That’s when he – at age 15 in 2015 – discovered he was gay.
Lasizwe has a passion for entertaining and empowering audiences of any kind. He has been uploading videos of himself on social media platforms on a daily basis, simulating how South Africans act. He has always dreamed of being the biggest thing in South Africa and internationally. He is driven by a passion to stay on top of his game with fresh ideas and new concepts.
